The service
FigureDraft generates explanatory scientific illustrations and graphical abstracts from supplied research. Generation requires an account, an enabled model service and the credits shown before submission. Each successful image, including a regenerated version, uses one credit. Outputs are raster PNG images; direct element editing, SVG and PPTX are not provided. Download important results before the displayed expiry. New account images are retained for 30 days on free and paid plans; older results keep their displayed expiry. Download and back up important files. Credits are charged only after image validation and storage succeed; storage failures release reserved credits.
Credits and orders
Available products, prices and credits are displayed before checkout. Payment confirmation activates purchased credits. Successful operations consume the stated credits; failed operations release reserved credits. An order keeps the price and credit quantity agreed at checkout.
Refund policy
Effective for new purchases from October 14, 2026.
Try the free plan before buying. Credit purchases are generally non-refundable, including unused credits, accidental purchases or dissatisfaction with a generated result. Generation incurs computing costs. Billing errors, non-delivery and exceptional circumstances are reviewed individually; statutory rights remain unaffected.
Submitting a request freezes this order’s available credits during review and payment processing. Earlier running tasks may finish and consume credits; approval waits for them to settle. Rejection or verified closure without a refund releases the hold.
For purchases under this policy, completed partial refunds revoke credits in proportion to the cumulative amount refunded divided by the amount actually paid, including tax, rounded up to a whole credit. Revocation is capped at the order’s remaining credits. A full refund removes all remaining credits. Used credits are not charged again.
Earlier purchases retain their original terms. Historical orders without this policy version keep their existing full-refund credit recovery rules.
Submit the order ID, requested amount, reason and supporting details in Account → Orders, or contact support. Requests and approvals do not mean payment has arrived. Approved refunds use the original payment method; timing depends on the provider. There is no automatic or unconditional refund promise. Failed generation tasks release their reserved credits; they are not cash refunds.
Content standards and prohibited categories
Effective October 15, 2026. These rules apply to prompts, submitted material and generated results. You must not request, generate or distribute any of the following through FigureDraft:
1. Pornography / NSFW: sexually explicit content, sexualized nudity or sexual acts.
2. Violence / gore: graphic injuries, torture, cruelty, or content promoting violence or terrorism.
3. Hate speech: threats, dehumanization or incitement to discrimination against people based on protected characteristics such as race, religion, disability, sex or sexual orientation.
4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM): child sexual abuse material, sexualization or sexual exploitation of minors, including fictional or AI-generated depictions.
5. Deepfakes / impersonation: fabricated depictions of real people, including face swaps, nudification, intimate composites, or false statements and actions attributed to them, even with consent; deceptive impersonation of individuals or organizations.
6. Copyright / trademark infringement: copying or adapting protected works without the necessary rights, unauthorized use of marks, or misleading claims of brand affiliation.
A research or educational label does not exempt prohibited content. Do not circumvent safety restrictions.
Content moderation and its limits
Model providers may refuse requests under their safety rules; FigureDraft treats refused or failed requests as unsuccessful rather than bypassing those restrictions. Our image format and delivery checks are technical validation, not content-safety approval. We do not currently operate an independent automated input/output safety classifier or human pre-approval of every image.
Platform operators manually review reports, supplied evidence and available task metadata, assess the suspected category and severity, then decide on action. Child-safety cases and credible threats of serious harm take priority. We may request further context; task records do not retain original prompt text. Reports and review records are handled as support data under our Privacy policy. We do not claim 24-hour monitoring or guaranteed detection of all violations.
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on severity and repetition, we may issue a warning, require the user to stop the conduct, remove violating files stored by us, suspend an account and revoke sessions, or permanently terminate access. Serious violations may lead to immediate suspension without a prior warning. We may preserve necessary records and report suspected illegal activity to competent authorities where required by applicable law. We cannot recall copies already downloaded or shared outside the service.
Where lawful and practicable, we explain the reason and action through the available contact channel. You may appeal through the reporting channels below with the decision reference and additional context. We reconsider the evidence and communicate the outcome. Enforcement does not remove statutory rights or replace the refund policy.
Report content or appeal a decision
Report prohibited content, suspected child exploitation, impersonation or infringement through the support email below or a private account support ticket. Email is available without signing in, including when an account is suspended. Use the subject “Content report” or “Appeal”; include the task ID or relevant URL, the suspected violation, a description and a reply address. Rights holders should identify their work or mark and explain their authority to report.
Do not attach or redistribute suspected CSAM or other illegal imagery; provide identifiers and a description instead. Do not send passwords, verification codes or unrelated confidential research. We assess reports fairly, limit access to those handling the case and required legal disclosures, and reply through the supplied channel when possible. Do not knowingly submit false or abusive reports. This is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone faces immediate danger.
